Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles
We are excited to announce that our Keynote Speaker for AMUN 2024 will be Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles. Sir Sherard worked in the diplomatic service from 1977-2010. He has extensive experience of diplomacy in the Middle East having been British Ambassador to Israel (2001-2003), Saudi Arabia (2003-2006) and Afghanistan (2007-2009). He is the author of “Cables from Kabul: The Inside Story of the West’s Afghanistan Campaign” and “Ever the Diplomat: Confessions of a Foreign Office Mandarin”.
